 FJI Emperor's Jubilee Stone

Černousy (German: Tschernhausen) is a village in the north of Bohemia, in the district of Liberec. The original name of the village was Černohousy and it was changed to its current name in 1924, it is one of our northernmost municipalities.
On December 2, 1908, the Jubilee Monument of Francis Joseph I. consisting of a group of basalt boulders was built and consecrated in the village. On the largest stone block was carved in decorative writing:

Date 1848 – 1908, imperial crown, monogram FJI, Built by the municipality of Černousy

While visiting the village of Černousy, Mr. Günter Krause, a native of Černousy, showed me the place where the FJI Jubilee Monument stood. A stone block from the monument lies in the garden under a mahogany bush a few meters from this place.
