Prysk (German: Preschkau) is a village in the Česká Lípa district, in the west of the Lužické Mountains, north of Kamenický Šenov and located in a narrow valley of the Pryské Potok enclosed by the steep slopes of the surrounding hills. The elongated village consists of three parts - the eastern Horní Prysk, the western Dolní Prysk and the westernmost Vesnička. Prysk belongs to the PLA Lužické Hora and its location ranks it among the most beautiful villages in the north of Bohemia.

On June 7, 1907, the first municipal festival was held in Dolní Prysk. A field mass was opened by parish priest Fiřtik, after which Mayor Görner gave an opening speech, school children sang and the local band accompanied them. During the ceremony in the following year, a plaque was unveiled on the school building in honor of the 60-year reign of Emperor František Josef (1848 – 1908).
