The first spa buildings were built probably only between 1811 and 1812, on the site of a well-known and plentiful spring of iron-rich, carbonated water, even though water had been imported to the castle in Mel\u010d since at least 1755<\/p>\n<p>n 1895, the spa was bought by the new owner of the Vik\u0161tejn estate \u2013 Count Camillo Razumovsk\u00fd with his wife Maria. The Counts of Razumov, in whose possession Jansk\u00e9 Koupele remained until the beginning of World War II, very soon correctly estimated their importance and immediately began their generous restoration and modernization. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the J\u00e1nsk\u00e9 Koup\u00e9li was transformed into a modern spa meeting all the most demanding contemporary criteria through a systematic and very investment-intensive reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the reign of Emperor Francis Joseph I, commemorated to this day by a plaque on the wall of Villa Silesia, the Razumov family made the newly built Villa Silesia available to poor citizens who needed spa care. Those interested had to secure free places before the season, always by April 1 of the current year with the spa manager. Such a request then had to be supported by a medical certificate and a certificate of poverty.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Free lay translation of the text:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">In memory of the famous 50-year reign of the Austrian Emperor Francis Joseph I and to celebrate this memorable day, the owner of the Jan\u016fv Pramen estate built this house dedicated to the healing of the sick.
