Emperor FJI . stop in Jedovnica on his way to maneuvers in Drahan, 14 September 1883<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n

The town of Jedovnice is located 25 km north of Brno in the district of Blansko in the South Moravian Region. The surrounding forests of the nature park form the gateway to the Moravian Karst.<\/p>\n

Drawing Mgr. Jitky V\u00e1vrov\u00e1 on the front page of the May\/June 2016 Jedovnick\u00e9 zpravod\u00e1\u0159 depicts the FJI emperor and the Spanish king Alfonso XII in front of a field tent in the background and a memorial stone, which is today located in the corner of the spruce enclosure on the bank of the stream near the Vrbo pond near the dam. The stone is about 75 cm high above the ground, 25 cm wide and 11-13 cm thick. According to D. Varner, it is made of culm offal or dust. On the obverse are the letters KFIE in a frame and below them the year 1879. Between the two lines is also an indistinct additional text \"den24Apr\". So it is dated April 24, 1879. KFIE expresses KAISER FRANZ IOSEPH ERSTE, i.e. Emperor Francis Joseph the First. For the day April 24, 1879, an explanation was found by\u00a0PhDr. Ji\u0159\u00ed Dole\u017eel - on that day, Francis Joseph I and Empress Sisi celebrated their silver wedding, festivities took place throughout the monarchy. So this event is commemorated by a stone\u00a0at Willow Pond!<\/p>\n

Around 1994, a stone slab by cottage ceramicist R\u016fzena Pecherov\u00e1 was planted next to the memorial stone. It is 55 cm high and 95 cm wide with a die-cut red colored text:<\/p>\n
