The village can be found in the places where the battle of the three emperors took place near Slavkov in 1805, south of the town of \u0160lapanice and southeast of Brno. The village is located on the left bank of the river \u0158\u00ed\u010dka, and the forest named Ba\u017eantnice adjoins the southern edge of the village. In the southeast direction from the village rises Prack\u00fd kopec (324 m.a.s.l.) and on its top there is a monument to the Battle of Slavko with the Mound of Peace.<\/p>\n

The first torment of God on the site of today's Poklona was three-sided and was built in 1769. Later, a three-sided Poklona was removed and built, which had a marble slab on the front with the inscription:<\/p>\n

\"In memory of the jubilee of the 60-year reign of Emperor and King Francis Joseph I and the 50-year priesthood of Pope Pius IX. He built a baptistery. social association and benefactors 1908.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soon after the establishment of the independent Czechoslovak Republic, the plaque was turned over so that the inscription could not be seen. It was turned to its original position during repairs in 2006. In 2002 Poklona was declared a cultural monument.\n\u200b<\/p>\n
