The large-format ceremonial document is provided with vlastnoručním podpisem císaře Františka Josefa I. a velkou embossed imperial seal.
Ferdinand Ritter von Wussin was a prominent officer in the Austrian Imperial Army, later serving as a brigade commander and holding other high military positions.
The exceptional rarity of the exhibit is enhanced by the fact that it has been preserved including the original, specially made leather case inscribed "GENERAL-PATENT DES MAJORS RITTER VON WUSSIN", the original fittings, lock and key.
